Processing Referral Orders

If you specify an additional fee product on the Referral Advanced Setup window, the Ref Fee and Ready to Invoice options display on the Manage referrals window to allow you to process reference fees that apply to successful referrals beyond the base referral subscription fee.

Perform the following tasks to process referral orders:

■    Create referral orders

■    Invoice open referral orders

■    Enter payments for referral orders

To create a referral order

1.  From Referrals, select Manage referrals.

2.  Find the referral.

3.  Select the Ready to Invoice option.

4.  From Referrals, select Create referral orders to create orders for all referrals marked Ready to Invoice.

To invoice referral orders

Generating additional fee invoices occurs as a batch process that you handle through the Generate reports window. You invoice the referral fees for your subscribers directly from the iMIS Professional Referrals system.

Note: You cannot edit a referral order once it has been invoiced.

1.  From Referrals, select Generate reports.

2.  Select the Invoice report type.

3.  Select the Print New Invoices report.

4.  Click Run.

To enter payments for referrals

When you receive payments for referral services, you can enter them through AR/Cash as you would any other order.

1.  From AR/Cash, select Enter and edit transactions> Cash receipts.

2.  Click New.

3.  Enter the customer Id, or click the Find icon to select a value. You can also enter the Invoice Number.

4.  In the Check/CC field, enter the check number or credit card type, and press Tab.

5.  Enter the Payment Amount, and press Tab.

6.  Select one of the following transaction options:

□    To apply cash to an item, double-click on the item in the list and enter the amount to apply to the item in the Amt Paid field.

□    To partially apply cash to an item, select the line and enter the amount to apply to the item in the Amt Paid field.

7.  Click Save.
